The Friends of the Marple Public library in Broomall are pleased to announce a FREE concert of Klezmer music featuring the versatile Ken Ulansey on Soprano Saxophone. Klezmer music is steeped in tradition and is easily identifiable by its characteristic expressive melodies, which are reminiscent of the human voice, complete with laughing and weeping. Our guest artist will perform and explain the origins, history and traditions of Klezmer music and its unique musical sound. Reservations are requested but not required.
